First things first, each product cost around $70, often without shipping included. I sourced these beauties from the US, Brazil, Japan, and Korea since I couldn't find any Aussie options. After about 1.5 to 2 years of research and development (yes, it was a commitment!), I trialed each product for anywhere between 1 to 3 months.

**Turmeric Soap:**
Ah, turmeric! This little yellow gem stained both my nails and my bum. The result? A rather amusing golden hue that may suit darker skin tones better, but definitely left me giggling!
**Turmeric Mask (Different Brand):**
This mask requires at least 10 minutes of application, but boy, did it get messy! It dripped all over my floor and left stains on my white countertops. Not the vibe I was going for! Ten minutes of trying to stay still is a test of patience, to say the least.
**Korean Papaya Soap:**
This was a real trip. It felt like it burned in all the wrong places! Ten minutes might seem short, but trust me: spreading your cheeks in a chilly bathroom is not the most comfortable experience!
**Similar Japanese Soap:**
This soap was incredibly messy—seriously, it left goop all over my shower shelf. As a bit of a clean freak, this was hard to handle. Plus, the hygiene aspect of these soaps was questionable, putting me off completely.
**BLASS:**
Out of everything I tried, this one was my favorite, but it felt more like a lip balm. I was uncomfortable applying it in sensitive areas after using it elsewhere. If you have an infection and keep using it, well, you could just end up reinfecting yourself—yikes!
**Brazilian Pink Shower Gel:**
Unfortunately, this one didn’t hold up well—it seemed to expire quickly and ended up looking moldy after about a week. The branding was also a bit of a turnoff for me, so I hesitated to keep it on my shelf.
